Have you been to Slater’s 50/50 – Burgers By Design? A new restaurant in Victoria Gardens, really down Day Creek Blvd. close to Foothill, in the old Harry’s Pacific Grill location. This is a fun place. They have an extensive beer menu and Burgers! Burgers anyway you like including some options I am sure you have never thought of before. PB&J Burger anyone? They do offer veggie burgers, grilled chicken breast and turkey burgers. 50/50 stands for their signature patty which is 50% bacon and 50% beef. Bacon does turn up in many items across the menu. They have a “Burger of the Month” and donate a portion of the proceeds to the Make A Wish Foundation. This restaurant is defiantly worth a try, service was great – I will go back. They also will text you when your table is ready, so go early, put your name in, give your cell number and if the wait is long enough do some shopping at Victoria Gardens. You can also check the status to see how close they are to having a table for you. For more information visit their website: https://slaters5050.com/locations/rancho-cucamonga/
Here is a nice video of the history of the Etiwanda Train Station, enjoy.
It will be great when the trail work around the station is complete. The station renovation will preserve the history of Etiwanda long into the future.
